EKTAPAN 100‘s high sharpness, fine grain, and impressive resolving power make it ideal for applications that demand superior clarity. It is the world’s finest grain 100 speed black and white film. 

Featuring a T-Grain emulsion, the EKTAPAN family utilizes flat, tabular silver halide crystals that enhance light absorption and maintain a low grain appearance – resulting in higher resolution and sharpness compared to traditional cubic-grain films. This structure provides a “clean” look with high contrast, distinct edges, and reduced texture. 

The KODAK EKTAPAN family of continuous-tone panchromatic black-and-white negative films are available in ISO 100, 400, and P3200 – offering exceptional image quality for detailed subjects. The EKTAPAN family’s wide latitude allows for push and pull processing with good results. Its ability to handle a high degree of enlargement ensures that even the most intricate details are preserved.
