About the Sirui R-Series Tripod
The Sirui R series tripod line is separated into two categories: the conventional R1 and R2 series tripods, both boasting desirable features. These include a locking collar for the center column, designed for easy use even when wearing gloves in cold weather, and a mounting plate with a double-headed, reversible screw that fits both 1/4″ and 3/8″ tripod sockets. Additionally, a built-in bubble level aids in precise tripod alignment.
Sirui R2004 Aluminum Tripod
The Sirui R2004 Aluminum Tripod has a maximum loading capacity of 33lbs (15 kg) while only weighing 3.7lbs (1.7 kg). The tripod is composed of four sections with adjustable height bolts and features a special gasket to protect against sand, dust, and dampness. The leg base can be adjusted to suit your needs at angles of 25°, 55°, and 80°, while one of the legs is equipped with a foam for added comfort in low temperatures. Constructed with stability and durability in mind, the Sirui R2004 is made with high-quality materials that allow for reliable shooting in extreme temperatures ranging from -40° C to 100° C. Unlike other tripod series, such as N, M, and TX, this model does not include a monopod function or a reversed legs folding system.
